£34,871 FTE pro rata (0.4 FTE – 2 days a week – hours can be flexible) + 6% employer and 4% employee pension contribution. 

Holiday is calculated at 33 days FTE (including bank holidays). We are a workers’ cooperative which means we are dedicated to equality reflected by our equal pay policy across the team.

Labour Behind the Label is recruiting a community engagement worker with either lived experience of being a garment worker, or experience of working with garment workers in the UK. We want your help to help ensure that the voice of garment workers is central to all our projects, and our work amplifies the demands of workers within the industry.

The successful applicant will have experience of working with workers in manufacturing roles in garment factory or facilities based in the UK, and the ability to build strong community links and relationships with workers in UK garment factories, based on integrity and trust. 

We strongly encourage applicants from People of Colour/ people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds to apply for this role. We actively welcome applicants with lived experience of working in the garment industry in manufacturing roles.
