Specialized Against Wage Theft Christmas Cycle

Date: 16th December 2023
Time: 11:45 am - 1:00 pm
Location: Mina Road Park (BS2 9XH), Bristol

Specialized, one of the best known bike makers, also makes clothes. And it owes money to 842 former employees of the APS sewing factory in El Salvador. We tried writing and calling but Specialized won’t respond. So we thought we might pedal over to tell them in person - Don’t specialize in wage theft!
What: Christmas-themed cycle ride to the Specialized shop in Bristol

When: 11:45 am, 16 December, Saturday

Where: Meet up point to cycle together, Mina Road Park (BS2 9XH)

We will meet at Mina Road Park (BS2 9XH) on our bikes and cycle the short journey to the Specialized shop (BS5 6XX).

We will then unfurl Santa’s naughty list with Specialized name on it. We’ll leave the store with a Christmas card and instructions on how they can get off the naughty list - by paying their workers!
Dress festive - Christmas jumpers, elf hats, reindeer horns welcome 🙂

Note: For those unable to cycle but wanting to participate, join us directly at the store for 12 o’clock.
