Advocacy Lead                             

Salary: £38,445 FTE
Hours: 28 hours/wk (0.8, £30,756)
Contract: Permanent (subject to a 3 month probationary period)

Labour Behind the Label are seeking an experienced campaigner and lobbyist to join our team. The Advocacy Lead is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders in campaigns to call for better conditions in the garment industry and pushing our message in the media. They take part in LBL’s outward facing work, delivering lobbying and campaigns, and designing actions to push brands and policy decision makers to improve conditions.

We strongly encourage applicants from People of Colour/ people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds to apply for this role. We actively welcome applicants with lived experience of working in the garment industry in manufacturing roles.

Labour Behind the Label Trustee                              

The Labour Behind the Label Trust are currently welcoming applications for new trustees. Rolling deadline. 

The Labour Behind the Label Trust are open to applications from anyone with a passion for changing the fashion industry for the better. You could be a trade unionist, a person from the media or the world of fashion, or be a current or ex-garment worker. People from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.

We are particularly interested in applications from: 1. People with experience working with funding groups, major donor fundraising and agencies; 2. Those who have strong community links in Leicester, home to the largest garment-producing hub in the UK.
